Born in Hackensack, Galgano lived in Westwood for 22 years before settling in Hackensack 54 years ago. He served the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958-1964.
He was a realtor with Clinton Realty, in Hackensack, before he retired. He was a member of Teaneck Moose Lodge 961.
Galgano is survived by his children, Sherri Galgano-Vasquez and Kevin Galgano; siblings Donnie Galgano, Richard Galgano and Betty Tomaro; and grandchildren Ryan, Jenna, Jonah and Sierra.
He was preceded by his brother, Anthony Galgano.
Services were private, held by the Aloia Funeral Home, in Garfield.
